The Swiss Army Knife of cooking courses, preparing you for a job on the slopes.

Being able to poach an egg is one thing but juggling management of a chalet, catering for paying guests and managing after that party in Rudi’s bar is quite another. BREATHE.

We will arm you with a repertoire of dishes that will cater for all tastes and throw your guests in to a satisfied stupor. Veggie, Vegan, Kids or Dentures, no problem. And, since it’s all about you spending as much time as possible on the slopes and not in the kitchen, we will give you all the insider tips to turn your chalet into a sparkling jewel in no time and keep your boss happy.

UPDATE: All the skills and nowhere to go? We will help you polish your CV, develop your interview technique and get you in front of several of the leading UK ski companies who visit during the course to give you tips on the opportunities out there.

Great news -  the Wyld Cookery School is an Approved Activity Provider for the Residential section for the Gold DofE award. (You only need to stay for one of the two weeks to qualify!)

The Specifics:

A no nonsense, intensive two week cookery course to give you everything you need to make the most of your Ski Job.

The course runs Monday to Friday with a maximum of 14 students. They enjoy lunch together every day, with breakfast on Fridays and on their first Thursday night they host a 'Supper Party' for their invited guests at the school. The hours are Monday 9.30am – 4.30pm and Tuesday to Friday have a 9am start!  

As a Wyld Seasonaire you will:

+ Get your hands on The Wyld School of Cookery Recipe Book and Chalet Bible, with tips from seasoned pro’s and a Meal Planner.

+ Take Level 2 Food Hygiene & Safety Certificate course & exam.

Get Ahead Chalet Job Workshop:

Get ahead of the crowds: With the season starting in early December we recommend that you start your job search as soon as you can. We offer help and assistance in advance of your attending the course. Come to one of our free workshops in Putney South West London (available to all paid up students).
